Character Bio:
Born and raised on Tatooine, Daarius was a prodigy in the underground pod Racing Circuit after years of training under his fathers wing. His increasingly valuable odds made him famous among both local and off-world gamblers. The Hutts saw him as a threat and as a result offered the Tusken Raiders on the planet's outskirts advanced weapons for eliminating the rising star during his premier race as a Professional. The stakes were high for Daarius, seeking the approval of his father but not 2 laps into the race his power coupling caught fire after blaster fire and shrieks echoed through the desert canyons. Daarrius fell unconscious and awoke in captivity somewhere on the outskirts in a Tusken encampment.
After spending the better part of a decade as a slave to animals, he had his chance to escape when the senate had issued a report for a missing jedi who traveled to Tatooine to conduct negotiations with the Hutt Cartel. Intel suggested she was captured by Tusken raiders and a battalion of republics finest troopers were sent on a covert ops mission to locate and retrieve the Jedi. Soldiers burned many camps to the ground Finding Daarius along the way, they freed him, gave him a blaster and requested he remain with the squad until the mission was complete.
Years in captivity left Daarius scarred and without an eye, he was taken back to Coruscant for medical treatment. Unable to return home to his father after his shameful defeat in his first pro race, Daarius begged for a chance to repay the debt he owed to the republic and his uncanny skills with a blaster and more impressive talent in a starfighter made him an asset in the war against the empire. Daarius was enlisted as a recruit and now hopes to one day serve in the esteemed 203rd. Perhaps one day he will re unite with his father as a decorated soldier of the Galactic republic...
