8v8 warzone
Contact Summary:
We entered the Odessen map full of confidence and excitement based off the guild getting a super-Q. Seven of the eight players in our ops group were ACoy members, so we felt this was going to have a good chance of us having a solid control win. The enemy was underestimated, and we took a huge early deficit in the initial five or so minutes of the match.
Frustration grew a little bit as calls for help were not answered in a timely manner, we were losing control of the match. During this time, we were down about 260-435. With a sudden change in tactics, ACoy rose to the occasion and began to do what we know ACoy is capable of doing, fighting as one. CPL Derzis and 1SG Ranqe captured important zones for points, SPC Sie, SGT Eroca and SGT Illumori focused hard to maintain other captured zones, and LT Dronos supported whichever zone needed assistance. On a continuous blitz, we hit the enemy hard and forced ourselves back into the game closing the gap at 520-560 with less than 2 minutes left in the match. Three zones opened up, the enemy quickly went for the win and captured a zone far away from our troopers. We responded by capturing one node, and fought hard to control the remaining zone.
Closing in on the last and final minute of the match, in a last ditch effort to go for the win, 1SG Ranqe used a buff to increase the amount of points accumulated per second for our team. At the final second, our teams score surpassed the opponents total score 600-598. This was one hell of a victory earned through teamwork, sacrifice, and the will to fight as one no matter what.

Positive Points:
This was one hell of a match and an ending. I'd like to congratulate the team on sticking together and not giving up. We had our backs against the wall and we worked hard to come back from over 200 points down to win the match 600-598. With persistence, a little luck, and 1SG Ranqe giving us a much needed buff on the score sheet, we won an exciting match.
Of course all of this was not perfect, during the match we did not respond to various calls for help on time. As we move forward, we need to remind ourselves that we have to drop what we are doing during a match in order to help a fellow guildmate defend an important objective.
Overall, there was a lot of positives to come out of this, and I look forward to showing this server that this guild never gives up.
