Enemy Encountered: <Talon Company> <Nightmare Squadron> <Forsaken Legion>
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: <Marine Expeditionary Unit>
Contact Summary: At 1900 hours EST, intelligence was reported that multiple Imperial contacts on Alderaan were invading and overrunning the spaceport security forces. At that time MAJ Qorbin conducted reconnaissance and confirmed the presence of many Imperial aggressors. Immediately he ordered the R.W.S. Alrek Torik to enter orbit above the House Organa compound, and to provide orbital support for ground forces.
After the deployment shuttle dropped off the assault group that initially responded and went back for the next group, 1SG Ricky lead the group across the field separating the Taxi station outside House Organa and the spaceport. Upon entering the spaceport compound, no contacts were found. However, when the assault group entered the inner sanctum of the spaceport, at least 12 to 15 contacts were spotted, and the troopers were immediately engaged.
After several minutes of fighting retreats, counter-offensives and almost losing several troopers to overwhelming fire and assault by lightsabers, 1SG Ricky implemented yet another unorthodox guerrilla tactic to overwhelm the enemy. Switching back and forth between the two entrances to the main interior of the spaceport kept the Imperial aggressors from prolonged assaults on our personnel, while also luring the more aggressive Sith and Imperial military into our choke-points. Slowly, methodically, we turned the tide of the battle despite being engaged by greater numbers. With the second assault group having been dropped off by the shuttle from the R.W.S. Alrek Torik, the Republic assault was bolstered, and shortly afterward, the fighting men and women of the 203rd R.E.L. eliminated all traces of Imperial resistance.
Having secured the spaceport once again, the troopers of Alpha Company cautiously moved further and further away from House Organa territory and pushed into Imperial-friendly ground. It is to be noted that House Alde was very gracious and helpful in giving our troopers a safe-haven to launch recon patrols and combat operations.
After almost an hour of scouring the Alderaan countryside for Imperial contacts, 1SG Ricky split our forces into several 2-man groups, each of which had a designated area to patrol and conduct recon operations.
Just before the search and destroy operation on Alderaan was called off, one of the 2-man groups located and reported promptly the location of multiple Imperial contacts, engaging a large and dangerous member of the local wildlife. TRP Frank and SPC Kel'ogomu are to be credited with their quality reconnaissance and prompt reporting. At this point, all 2-man groups were ordered to rendezvous at a nearby location. 1SG Ricky observed that their position was very close to an Imperial F.O.B. and thus ordered the company to move out to intercept the returning enemies.
The staff-NCO's hunch was well-founded and once again the troopers of the 203rd took the fight to the Imps. Preferring to hide in cowardice behind high walls, heavy turrets and elite Imperial guards, the enemy was surprised when the coalition of Republic armed forces stormed the front entrance to the F.O.B. and began skirmishing with the base's defenses. Slowly and methodically, yet again, the Imperials were drawn into a well-coordinated battle line and were subsequently mowed down by the disciplined fire and maneuver of our infantry units.
Alarms and sirens rang out inside the base, alerting all nearby enemy units. After several minutes of sustained combat, a successful breach of the outer defenses, and innumerable enemy casualties, more and more Imperial reinforcements landed inside the base and began to perform a counter-offensive that was so aggressive and relentless, the infantry units were forced to conduct a fighting withdraw. 10-15 minutes after initial contact, with energy cells depleting, armor rent and torn, and an ever-mounting number of Sith and Imperial contacts, the coalition was overrun and forced to conduct a full retreat.
During the fighting several members of the 203rd were injured while performing their duties with Valor. MAJ Qorbin fell during the fighting, but CPL Illumori acted quickly and under considerable enemy fire and attention, and at great personal risk to himself, grabbed the Commanding Officer and dragged him to safety behind the firing line where he revived the Major. SPC Aradow Cabur also performed courageously under immense enemy fire and was cut down by a menacing Sith's lightsaber. Despite being severely wounded, and at great risk to his own life, he continued to fire his weapon and cover the retreat of his fellow troopers until CASEVAC arrived and dragged him, despite his protests, to the shuttle. SGT Dronos performed his duties as a Gunnery NCO with Valor, calling out targets alongside 1SG Ricky and keeping the firing line focused on vulnerable targets throughout the fighting, even at great risk of his own life.
After regrouping at a nearby Republic F.O.B., CPL Illumori continued to execute combat medicine protocols and patched up the unit as best as possible in preparation for the next assault. The Imperials however, had seen what a small number of well-coordinated troopers could do, and thus retreated from the planet in great haste. Several individual enemy contacts decided to mount another under-manned assault on the spaceport and were quickly routed by the coalition forces.
Once all Imperial contacts were destroyed, 1SG Ricky formed up the unit and after being given the go-ahead by an extremely drugged-up Major, dismissed the platoon.

- Despite being outnumbered we prevailed in attrition stages of combat
- We contained the Imperial offensive and provided a safer environment for low level Republic citizens
- Fire discipline was on point
- Everyone did their job well
- Imperials were very difficult to find, and thus caused us to wait around for long periods of time
- COMM discipline could be slightly improved
- Execution of commands in combat was at times delayed
