---------------------------------------------------------------------
Unit Information
Unit: 203rd REL "Alpha Company"
C.O.: Major Qorbin Oca
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Deployment Report
Planet: Ilum
Formation Size: 8
Troops in Formation:
1SG Kjvago
1SG Ranque
SSG Thavious
SGT Vejovis
CPL Derzis
CPL Dronos
CPL Illumori
SPC Addelle
Areas Patrolled: Western Ice Shelf
Initial Contact: 2100 EST
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Contact Report:
Enemy Encountered: None
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: None
Contact Summary: Alpha Company personnel first conducted a review on combat mechanics and how they come into play in combat encounters. This course covered the fundamentals of Attack Types, Damage Types, Defense Mechanics, Crowd Control Effects and The Resolve System. After that a training session covering the Republic Trooper and Bounty Hunter classes was conducted. This course covered the classes shared traits, the advanced classes and their utilities and each of the disciplines. The students did an outstanding job receiving and understanding the course material and clearly demonstrated their comprehension with some hiccups. Almost all of the student passed their afk/learning checks and will receive full course credit on the training roster.
Positive Points:
All the students appeared to have learned something new
Turnout was good
The course finished at a good pace
Negative Points:
Several interruptions throughout the course
Over-correction of individual students that weren't causing any issues by people who weren't running the class
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
CAT-2D was taught. The CAT-1R portion of the event featured several interruptions by students who were overeager to prove their knowledge to listen, interrupting to repeat points that had just been made or to make a point themselves the second before it gets made by the teacher. In the future I will be making a point of having clearly marked times for people to get their own points or questions in throughout the class and enforcing stricter comms discipline outside of that. There was also an incident where two members started talking in mumble on an unrelated topic and had to be muted. The CAT-2D portion of the class went much better. One student was afk for the second half of the course and will not receive credit. The rest will be getting credit on the ORBAT.
