Contact Report:
Enemy Encountered: War Zone Junkies
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Altruist (Systems Commonwealth)
Contact Summary: At approximately 2100hrs. CST, Alpha Company received a CTA from Cpl. Mij who received a distress call from Trooper Curran who was dispatched to Hoth. While in the performance of his duties, Trooper Curran made contact with a group of approximately 8 imperial and/or mercenary contacts. Aided by one [Jedi?] Altrist, Trooper Curran took cover within the Seneth Outpost.
When the reinforcements arrived they immediately employed stealth scanners and deployed [Jedi] Atruist and Recruit Junlar on forward observation. The remaining force set up positions within Seneth station. Shortly after taking position, an enemy was observed within the outpost itself. At this time Major Qorbin issued the command to seek and destroy all enemies within the outpost. At first we underestimated the numbers of contacts. The reality resulted in a brutal firefight. In the end, Alpha Company emerged the victor of the engagement though a transmission was sent. At this point our forward observers spotted contacts to the south outside of the outpost. We immediately re-positioned our line at the entrance of the outpost. [Jedi] Altriust called in at least two contacts with stealth technology. We deployed out stealth scans enmasse. At this moment, Recruit Irenaeus thought he saw movement near the top ledge of the outpost entrance and let loose a volley of mortar fire which interrupted an enemies stealth generator. At this point battle ensued at the mouth of the outpost. Working as one, Alpha Company slowly pushed the enemy advance back. After an exhausting struggle Alpha Company pushed the enemy forces into retreat. The end result of the engagement was a success with no casualties and minor injuries.
Thinking the enemy had made a full retreat, Alpha Company returned to Aurek base to debrief. Once we arrived at Aurek base we discovered the enemy had, in fact, not retreated but circled back and infiltrated the Republic base and with more forces. A vicious battle ensued. After an hour of intense fighting Alpha Company successfully cleared the base of all enemy forces and secured the area.
Positive Points:
• We had a great turnout! Damn it felt good to see Alpha back in strength.
• The War Zone Junkies were good opponents and put up a hell of fight.
• Made a positive contact with a member of Systems Commonwealth. Good gossip for the Company.
• In the end, it was a well coordinated CTA despite fresh recruits and a rusty old timer [Irenaeus].
Negative Points:
• No real RP from the War Zone Junkies. Though they are not known for RP.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation: Well done and well executed. The result of this CTA should encourage positive gossip and help in renewing relationships with other guilds in the SWTOR community. No recommendations at this time. It is an honor to be back and I look forward the next Action.
