Contact Summary:
Chiban and I (Jromwald) Arrived on scene after receiving a call-to-arms from Sergeant Thavious for distressed troopers outside Thorozan Outpost. We approached Thavious and Jennings, who appeared to be in the midst of negotiations with the reported enemies (House Kil'ndar was not yet present) but Thavious was abruptly attacked as we came in range. We moved to support Thavious in the conflict and were successful overall, though we were pushed back to Thorozan Outpost and besieged. One trooper arrived to support us, and we had several stand-offs.
During our several standoffs Zurilia, a Jedi, accused us of attacking her friends. Identifying Zurilia as a traitor, Thavious ordered her back along with the rest of the Imps. Thavious' orders went unheeded and conflict continued.
Captain Viozaer, Corporal Chadeaux and Specialist Malachai arrived on-scene, at which point we quickly turned and routed the enemy forces. They attempted to "Rabbit" us back to more favorable ground, but Captain Viozaer ordered us to stay entrenched at the outpost.
Soon after the enemy forces returned, now reinforced by House Kil'ndar. The Sith Lord Faeru, apparently their leader, treated with Viozaer and accused Alpha Company of violating a treaty on Alderaan early that day. After some testimony from Chiban and I in regards to the early Alderaan encounter, it was determined that both the Imperial and Republic forces would withdraw from the area and the issue of treachery would be resolved in private between Faeru and Viozaer at a later time.
Viozaer order us to pull out, leaving behind ghost squad to keep eyes on the Imperials until the exited the area. We collected datacrons and flight-waypoints while ensuring things returned to peaceful status. There was an attempt by Zurilia to lure us into Outlaw's Den and ambush under a false distress call, but the deception was revealed by ghost squad and Viozaer ordered Alpha Company not to respond.
Positive Points:
- Over came and routed a siege at Thorozan
- Responded well to Thavious' call-to-arms
Negative Points:
- Slight loss-of-face for Alpha Company with the individual Zurilia
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
The mission was a great success, we responded well to Thavious' CTA and were able to rebuke the Imperial forces in open conflict without having to resort to less-orthodox tactics, such as riddle battles. The best recommendation for this situation would be for our less-experienced (lower level) members to catch up in order to better be able to assist our stronger members. Otherwise orders were carried out well and we functioned as a strong team.
