Enemy Encountered: <The Writhing Horror> <The Dread Guards> <Operator IX> <Kephess the Undying> <The Terror From Beyond>
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: None
Event Summary:
At 2130, a squad-sized element of troopers landed on Asation with the objective of eliminating a series of hostiles invading the Gree planet. The squad encountered fierce opposition, but made its way through without problem for the most part. Once the Terror from Beyond had been forced back througb the Hypergate, the squad departed the planet.
Positive Points:
- Good run, was able to complete the operation at a good pace despite two of us being undergeared.
- Picked up some gear for the troopers.
Negative Points:
- A few careless deaths.
- Need to work on fire discipline.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Enjoyable, got to take the troopers on their first op. Also got quite a few credits out of it. It's important (especially for newer participants) to remember, however, that this is generally not how ops go. With more difficult operations, we are a lot stricter about CC'ing targets / fire discipline.
