Event Summary:
Reports of low-levels being jumped outside the Republic Spaceport called for a recce of the area, upon investigation Mij ambushed by 4 NOVA in stealth. By the time reinforcements arrived the attacking party had vanished, further investigation revealed they had returned to their Fleet once even numbers arrived. Began patrolling surrounding area for further threats, discovered a level 60 Operative, Xeneten, near the spaceport. The Op was subdued before the check fire order could be given, claiming he was there to do some filming with a Republic contact, this remains unconfirmed. By this time, word of a possible battle had spread and a sizable force from Rebels of the Empire had arrived. unfortunately without a battle, they were called off.
Alpha then made a few searches of surrounding outposts only to discover Reformation at Outpost Landa. The Major formed the unit and the attack began with it initially being a 2-to-1 fight, including the previously encountered operative whom decided to cancel filming. While normally classified as a target-rich environment, both sides got even numbers of backup and Alpha was gradually pushed back into the base to the point of being camped. Once the base defensed were up and running again, we were successful in pushing them back. Unfortunately, the enemy opted not to continue the attack and withdrew before a counteroffensive could be mounted.
Positive Points:
- Quick response from allies, if a little premature.
- Some WPvP was needed for some members as they've been itching for a scrape.
Negative Points:
- Too many healers on opposing force to keep them down, 2 Operation groups at least were in play.
- Focus fire was not as precise as needed.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Continue training and gearing out needed specs, we're slipping if we can't out do the Imperials in a 2-to-1 fight like we used to.
