Enemy Encountered: Reign, Scions of Malice, Overlord, Red Eclipse, Army of the Pure, Jawas of the Night, Shadow Council of Sith, WarZone Junkiez
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Remnants of Hope, Croms Underworld, Shattered Republic, WarZone Junkies, Order of Shadows, Rain of First Knights, Outer Rim Unemployment Office
Contact Summary:
Began patrol with a sweep of Outpost Zaroshe where we encountered Remnants of Hope making a run through it. After some minor RP greetings, Odiasen, Viike, and Mij encountered Garrus of Reign. He was RP escorted to a more remote location from the outpost for interrogation, but after he stalled for time for his backup to arrive and attacked us on his own, we were forced to put him down a couple times. During that RP, RoH left the field and were not heard from again. We resumed our patrol towards Outlaw's Den and were ambushed by 2 unguilded 55s. We rallied back at Thorazan and began preparing for the imminent attack. We met 9 Imperials outside the outpost and were somewhat successful in driving them back. After meeting their rallying forces in battle at Zaroshe, we were forced to regroup at our base where the fighting stayed for the rest of the encounter. Imperial reinforcements kept arriving while ours were few with others leaving the battle. The superior Imperial numbers and disorganized Republic response team forced us to surrender the base.
Positive Points:
• Recruit Viike stayed in the fight despite not having a competitive combat level and showed good initiative.
• Our presence was noted and 2 potential recruits might have been gained from this.
Negative Points:
• Recruit Odiasen was a little too trigger happy and caused some friction with questing low-level Imps, him not being in voice comms was a hindrance as well.
• Reinforcements from allies were light and not enough to push back the large Imperial numbers.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Despite what can be categorized as a crushing defeat, Alpha and it's allies had it's moments where we had good coordination and body count. Outreach and an increase in communication is needed to turn this around.
