Contact Report:
Enemy Encountered: Imperial units ranging in strength from Acolytes to Masters, as well as scattered infantry units.
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Jedi Commander Jensyn
Contact Summary: In support of major invasion operations and to build unit experience as a whole, Alpha Company members, lead by Sergeants Decker and Galon, infiltrated the Sith Academy on Korriban. All members dutifully located, closed with, and destroyed all enemy contacts present utilizing textbook fire and maneuver tactics. After defeating Darth Soverus and forcing him into submission, Jedi Commander Jensyn arrived with reinforcements. Without any regard to Alpha Company's jurisdiction to the situation, Jedi Commander Jensyn struck down Darth Soverus, critically breaching the Jedi code. Appropriate reports have been filed and sent to the attention of the Jedi Council. Alpha Company's fire team then pulled out of action, reporting back to the Republic Fleet Carrick Station for debrief. During the debrief from the SIS Agent (CLASSIFIED), Intelligence reports urgently came in detailing a Sith invasion of Tython and the Jedi Temple. After receiving desperate orders to fight back the invading Imperials, Alpha Company then responded in force to Tython, eliminating all enemy contacts encountered, and dismantling the entire Imperial battle strategy from the ground up.
Positive Points:
• All members of the fire team executed orders to the letter
• The invasion was a decisive victory, as well as the defense of Tython and the Jedi Temple
Negative Points:
• Jedi Commander Jensyn was allowed to execute a prisoner of war, violating not only the Army of the Republic's code of conduct, but also that of the Jedi Order
• Several times the fire team went in two directions, splitting our forces and endangering the lives of troopers as well as the success of the mission
Overall Assessment and Recommendation: A job well done. Korriban was successfully sacked and the evil that breeds there has been dealt a mortal blow. The only issue we could work on is choosing beforehand which NCO takes the lead when 2 or more NCOs are present. The Jedi Temple has been reclaimed in the name of the Republic, and Tython is now safe for Padawans to continue their training once again.
