Contact Summary:
Led by SGT Galon and SGT Decker, a force of 11 soldiers conducted a reconaissance patrol from House Alde to Houses Cortess and Thul. Starting at 2000 EST six troopers from Alpha Company and five from Marine Expeditionary Unit made their way on foot through Imperial-controlled territory to scout out the area and gather intelligence from select Thul strongholds.
For the duration of the patrol, the Marines acted as security while Alpha Company focused on intel gathering.
Starting from the House Alde northern entrance, the formation moved on foot north towards the Imperial Oupost Bolym. Upon arrival and close inspection, the Outpost was found to have no garrison of troops outside of the normal guard. Since the outpost posed no threat to friendly forces, the patrol continued.
When they came to the southernmost bridge into the Kaamos Territory, SPC Mahr and SPC Ezeriah swept the bridge while the rest of the formation stood guard. Alpha Company secured the western side of the bridge, allowing the Marines to come across. The formation proceeded to make its way down the main road to a forward outpost occupied by House Thul.
The outpost, then under seige by friendly guerilla forces, was assaulted by Alpha and the Marines. The ill-prepared Thul soldiers were quickly routed giving control to Alpha Company. The main computer room in the base was breached and cleared. SGT Decker proceeded to copy all information possible off the computer and onto a spare datapad. Once all the intel was collected, the patrol pressed on to the westernmost entrance to the spaceport located at House Thul.
SGT Galon organized both Alpha and Marines and prepared a plan to get inside the spaceport. The plan was executed with no hitches. Once all troopers were inside safely, SGT Decker once again downloaded all available intel to his datapad. SGT Galon then set several thermite charges on the computers and detonated them once the formation was safely outside.
After a signal flare was shot, a transport was sent in to exfil all the soldiers back to House Alde. SGT Decker's datapad was sent to an SIS Intelligence Analysis (SISIA) team.
Once back, SGT Galon formed the men and promptly dismissed them.
UPDATE: SISIA has recieved the recovered intelligence and will proceed with decryption. The data will be returned to Alpha Company ASAP.
Positive Points:
• Some awesome RP was had throughout the whole patrol.
• Both us and MEU downed some commanders after the patrol was over.
Negative Points:
• Couldn't get any Imp guilds to show up to give us some contact.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Even though Zidd and I thought this up in ~10 minutes it turned out very well. We got much needed frameworks as well as a base of RP
should anyone choose to utilize it.
