---------------------------------------------------------------------
Contact Report
Enemy Encountered: ~16-18 contacts from <Clan Desh'ar>; 1 contact from <Crimson Blood(?)> (Forgot his name, started with a "T")
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Krito'kun
Contact Summary:
At 2230 EST (the time at which the event was supposed to start), a small detachment of Alpha Company troopers reported to the Republic Garrison on Quesh. Upon initial scouting of the area, enemy contacts were not seen.
At approximately 2245, Alpha recieved intel that a small Mandalorian clan was conducting training operations in the Outlaw's Den on Tatooine. Alpha's small detachment, along with an augmentation of two to three troopers, quickly set course to the Outlaw's Den. The Mandalorian training session was then abruptly halted by the Alpha force.
Shortly after dispersing the enemy's training session, Alpha Company quickly transitioned back to Quesh to meet the same Clan, only with many more numbers than they had before. Outnumbered, inferior-numbered formation (now numbering 10 with two scouts to make 12) held it's ground as the Mandalorians launched several head-on attacks at Alpha's line.
Exhausted, the superior-numbered Mandalorian band gave up soon after they figured out they could not hope to defeat Alpha Company. Seeing an opportunity, the troopers made their way to the Imperial Garrison. Upon reaching the garrison, Alpha slipped past the defenses and made themselves at home at the main shuttle dock--while still inside the base.
Positive Points:
Alpha Company.
Clan Desh'ar could not get past Alpha Company. All troopers in the formation should be commended for their excellent composure in the heat of battle.
Negative Points:
The event was poorly planned and communicated.
A COY has to reach out to Desh'ar (both points elaborated below).
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
In the future, before commencing in any RP/PvP style event, Alpha must have recieved complete guidelines that contain anything and everything that the event proposer would like to happen in their event.
We need more than just: "an Attack & Defend scenario where Alpha Company would be holding an objective that Desh'ar would need to take. After taking the objective Desh'ar would have to hold it for several minutes."
The biggest problem was "what's the objective?" After asking around, Alpha had recieved no information as to what the objective would be. Also, the event specifications had assumed that the enemy was going to capture said objective in the first place (everyone knows the general rule "assume = ass of u + me").
