Contact Report
Enemy Encountered: <Shadow Royale> and assorted Imperial conscripts (About 15, mostly sub-50's with 4-6 50's)
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Assorted Republic conscripts (About 4, including sub-50s)
Contact Summary: Alpha Company forces deployed an understrength squad sized element to the Dune Sea on Tatooine in response to Imperial aggression against Republic citizens in the vicinity of Outpost Thorazan. Although outnumbered 3:1, our superior training and equipment allowed us to push the enemy forces back to their staging facility at Outpost Zaroshe and hold them there within the safety of their sentries. As additional Imperial reinforcements arrived, our force was pushed back into the dunes. In the following field skirmishes, friendly forces inflicted extreme casualties on the Imperial force by utilizing terrain for concealment and tactical maneuvering to decisively engage every patrol and Imperial attack that left Zaroshe. After suffering severe losses in these engagements, the bulk of the Imperial force retreated from the planet.

Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
An effective demonstration of Alpha Company's zone defense capabilities. We arrived and took charge of the situation, provided security to all Republic citizens in the area, and caused Imperial forces to back down from their aggressive posture. Well fought.
More practice is needed with area fires among the newer members, we had a couple good hits, but it wasn't as effective as it could have been. This will likely improve naturally over time as troopers gain more open world experience in our unit.

Post Operation Assessment
Positive Points:
- Good discipline and adherence to orders was shown from the newer members of the unit.
- We were never defeated on open ground despite a heavy numbers disadvantage.
Negative Points:
- Imperials asked for a role-play encounter, and when we attempted to accommodate we were aggressively attacked.
- Our limited numbers of high levels made eliminating base sentry NPC's difficult while fending off the Imperial respawn.
- Our area fires were sluggish and mostly ineffective, more practice is needed to synchronize our area fire capabilities.
