Contact Summary:
At 2000 hours, an Alpha Company squad arrived at Olaris Spaceport on Taris after recent reports of a surge in rakghoul activity in the area. The team was tasked with ensuring the safety of the Republic Resettlement Zone and exterminating all rakghouls they encountered in the area. The squad patrolled on foot from Olaris to Waypoint Aurek. On the way to the outpost, they encountered several Republic citizens in need of assistance: some were encountering troublesome local criminals, and others needed help finding a datacron. A Jedi also requested help with defeating Subject Alpha, a mutated creature lurking close to Waypoint Draay. The squad rendezvoused with the Jedi near the toxic lake and successfully defeated the creature.
After completing all of these objectives, the squad moved to Ord Mantell to aid in Republic efforts there against the separatists. The troopers assisted a Republic citizen who called for aid from Savrip Island and patrolled to Mannett Point, where separatists were reported to be setting up for an assault on Fort Garnik. Alpha Company sabotaged separatist operations and sliced their computer systems, after which SPC Victus called for exfil.

Overall Recommendations:
Overall I would call this event a success. Reaching out to newer / low-level players is definitely something we should be doing more of. Other players often see our guild members around (particularly on Ord Mantell) but don't get much of a chance to interact with us, since we are usually doing classes or SOI courses when we're there. Being there for the purpose of engaging with the players and helping them helps our public image and allows these players to feel involved.

- Several players experienced interest in joining Alpha Company.

- Not as much activity once we got to Ord Mantell.
