Contact Summary: A distress signal was received from Cpl. Jaxin Riki on Nar Shaddaa. Sgts Ranque and Kjvago traveled to the planet and began a search. Sgt. Kjvago Mahr found Cpl. Jaxin Riki in a room on the upper Promenade being interrogated by a civilian by the name of Oza and a frequent associate of the company, Aydrien Seelund. After a short exchange of words it was revealed that Jaxin had been operating off duty and had planted two dud bombs on the promenade and shot at a pregnant woman called Malone Lightark. Sgt. Kjvago arrested Cpl. Jaxin and brought him to a holding cell on the Repulse awaiting court martial.

Witness Statement of Oza Regnit:
When asked if Jaxin fired upon Malone, he repeatedly said he "did not aim" and that he "missed by ten yards". Both of these statements are completely ridiculous, seeing as if he did in fact miss by ten yards, and if he did NOT aim, Malone would not have felt the need to take cover. He's either blatantly lying or a complete imbecile.
Also, when Aydrien and I were escorting him to the office, he began to laugh. When I inquired what he was laughing about, his response was, "You don't understand yet, do you?" Followed by, "You'll see soon enough." Again, if he was Alpha Company, and if he was under arrest, why keep up the ruse unless there was in fact something to be concerned about. He did not admit to the bombs being duds until much, much later.
I would not have attacked if I felt he wasn't a threat. I am a better man than that. He attacked by friend and ally outright, so I engaged. Deal with him as you would a traitor.

Witness Satement of Malone Lightark of Dead Star Company:
Initial contact with the man in question began that evening, when he entered into my office and asked for work while I was speaking to one of my men, a Dr. Kelios. He gave us a false name, and stated he needed additional income to help pay his bills. I offered a few small freelance jobs to help supplement his finances, after which my husband came in shortly after and we began discussing the terms.
Jaxin pulled Andvari aside, claiming he had something private to say to him. He then pulled out what appeared to be a hypostim and attempted to inject Andvari with the unknown substance. My husband retaliated, and subdued the attacker in armed combat.
Jaxin then informed us of a bomb planted in the Promenade. He made a number of claims, none of which had been verified:
1. There were two Chiss, one male and the other unconfirmed, who had set the bombs.
2. The Hutts wanted Andvari.
3. Whoever set the bomb was not targeting myself, or my office, but rather a building that Jaxin had 'interests' in.
4. That they had his family or a person of importance to him which caused him to attack.
We stripped him of his armor and weaponry and sent him with Dr. Kelios, armed with a blaster, to escort Jaxin to locate the bomb while I was relocated to a safer place. He returned shortly after and met us halfway to the speeder taxi pad. He placed a disarmed bomb on the ground, and was allowed to retrieve his armor under the explicit orders that he was to track down the two alleged Chiss. He was outfitted with a tracker and small explosive that would damage his arm should he attempt to attack us or set off another bomb.
He removed said tracker and once again returned as we were boarding the taxi, this time armed and prepared. After a brief exchange of words, he opened fire, and I ran for cover. My husband, Oza, and Aydrien retaliated and managed to subdue him and take him into custody.

BACKGROUND
CON Seelund Trading Co (STC) has contracts with 203 REL for support and supplies but was operating in an unofficial capacity. AG Aydrien T Seelund also operates on Nar Shaddaa purs contract SEC-1085437.
Andvari Lightark and Malone Lightark are married and Malone Lightark is pregnant with twins. Both PRIM Dead Star Company.
IND Oza Regnit is an associate of AG Seelund.
MISSION
AG Seelund was off duty on the Lower Promenade of the tourist center of Nar Shaddaa when IND Oza Regnit received a call for help from Malone Lightark around 2200 GST
EXECUTION
AG Seelund and IND Regnit proceeded to the scene immediately.
First Contact: On arrival at the Upper Promenade taxi platform, AG Seelund observed what appeared to be a mercenary or criminal in heavy, possibly Mandalorian, armor shooting at Malone Lightark, who fled for cover toward the speeder point.
Andvari Lightark advanced toward the shooter and interposed himself between Malone Lightark and the shooter. AG Seelund took up a position at the same point, while IND Regnit approached within close combat range to engage shooter.
IND Regnit struck shooter in the face. Shooter retreated behind a parked speeder. AG Seelund attempted to cryo-freeze shooter but he moved out of the way, moving toward the taxi droid. Shooter was given a chance to explain himself but AG Seelund deemed him a flight risk and used a Wynz-Tek Rakata Cryo-Shock grenade to stop him so he could be bound over for questioning. During his explanation, he removed makeup which had obscured his identity.
At this point, Andvari Lightark reported to AG Seelund that he had also been attacked twice by the shooter previously and that a bomb had been discovered and defused in their offices earlier that day. Lightark also reported that shooter had proclaimed he was going to ransom Lightark to pay for his (shooter's) debts.
When the Cryo-Shock wore off, shooter was restrained and removed to the offices of Dead Star Company on the Upper Promenade, accompanied by AG Seelund and IND Regnit.
Shooter revealed himself as CPL Jaxin Riki, who is known to AG Seelund from previous experiences with 203 REL. He raved about "traitors" and "the underworld."
On arrival at the Dead Star offices, AG Seelund immediately searched for a secondary and possibly tertiary incendiary device while IND Regnit questioned CPL Riki. CPL Riki implied there was another device, and that if anything happened to him, it would go off.
CPL Riki reported that he was set on an undercover mission by SM Teddy Rux two months previous to infiltrate the criminal underworld of Nar Shaddaa, and that he hadn't intended harm to Malone Lightark but was using the shots as a diversion to escape.
At approx 2300 SGT Kjvago Mahr, 203rd REL entered the office. AG Seelund relayed to him what has been set forth in this report.
RESULTS
CPL Riki has been remanded to military custody to face charges. The 2nd device in the office was revealed by CPL Riki and demonstrated to be a fake; no further devices were found upon further search.
STC reports no casualties and only minor injuries from all parties.

ADMISSION OF GUILT: CPL Riki admitted that he needed to escape -- but escape from what? This statement only makes sense if you assume one of two things: He was attacked by a pregnant woman in such a fashion that he felt compelled to thoroughly disguise himself first and only then shoot at her, OR that he was trying to get away from an earlier action, such as that reported by Andvari Lightark. Given that Andvari Lightark's injuries are also consistent with his account, I would tend to lean toward his version of what happened.
INVOCATION OF SM RUX AND ALLEGED COVERT OP: This could simply have been the desperate attempt of a man who'd been caught to appeal to my sentiment, as SM Rux and I were friends before he left, a fact known to CPL Riki. However, previous to this incident, I've only ever known CPL Riki to be loyal and I believe that it is entirely possible that this is an unofficial op gone sour, rather than a random wanton act of violence. More investigation into the matter is warranted.

I read through the docket and am overall pleased with the statements that have been made in regards to this case.
I would like to make note however that as he fired upon my wife that, while he seemed to be either deliberately missing or poor marksmanship, he had made a few direct shots at myself, which I had deflected and/or stopped entirely.
For whatever reason the suspect had seemed intent on subduing and/or capturing myself; for what reason it is unclear. The second attempt at the taxi pad he had set his rifle to stun rounds in an attempt to further subdue me.
During his first attempt at capture he had whispered to me that there was a traitor amongst my group, to which he then tried to inject me with a tranquilizer of some sort.
I would like to point out that I had never met this man before personally and do not feel that there had been an interaction between myself and the suspect that would have incurred such a hostile response.
I would like to have access to any information that may link the suspects actions with another faction that may have ill-intent towards myself, my family, or my company.
((Depending on what happens and how leadership feels we might make an event of the court martial or do some exposition via forums. Presumably Jaxin will be found guilty and punished and he will do a legacy rename for his character.))
