Enemy Encountered: None.
Friendly/Neutral Encountered:
Event Summary: Alpha Company personnel conducted a training session on combat mechanics and how they come into play in combat encounters. This course covered the fundamentals of Attack Types, Damage Types, Crowd Control Effects, The Resolve System, and Defense Mechanics. After studying combat mechanics, students were provided with tools and information on itemization and gear acquisition for their individual specializations. The students did an outstanding job receiving and understanding the course material and clearly demonstrated their comprehension of very tedious and detailed game mechanics. All students passed their learning checks and will receive full course credit on the training roster.
Positive Points:
The course was successfully completed according to the training plan and all topics were covered. This course met the intent of instructing all attendees on the basic combat mechanics which are further explained in detail in the CAT-2 series. This was a successful iteration of the CAT-1 training program.

- The course finished in record time, yet still covered all of the training topics effectively.
- Even veteran players commented that they learned new information and tips due to this course.
- Because of how fast material was covered, some review may be necessary for some students in order to ensure retention
