Contact Summary:
At approximately 23:30 Trooper Holdn received word through private holo that there was a small force of Empire Troops inside Aurek Base on Hoth. Trooper Holdn immediately informed the rest of Alpha Company of the report via company commfreqs. A fire team was formed and everyone proceeded to the shuttle to land on Hoth.
Immediately upon exiting the shuttle at the Aurek Base landing bay, three of the troopers were ambushed by the Imperials and were forced to retreat from the landing bay, the fourth trooper was delayed by an equipment malfunction and missed the first landing shuttle.
Once the fire team was regrouped at the entrance to the hangar bay the troopers looked over into the far corner of the bay where the Imperial force had gathered and quickly formulated an attack strategy.
Specialist Samina, being the only vanguard, took point and prepared to harpoon their first priority target. As the rest of the team took supporting positions, Specialist Samina harpooned her target. The fire team and some of the hangar guards immediately started assaulting the target and without much trouble he went down. One down, five to go.
The rest of the battle was similar, with Samina snagging a target and everyone focusing on that target to bring him down quickly. The whole battle lasted little more than twenty minutes.
Positive Points:
• Alpha Company responded quickly and decisively to the threat
• All troopers listened and followed orders and tactics
• Imps didn't use their companions during the battle
Negative Points:
• Imps ambushed the initial landing team due to lack of reconnaissance
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Imperial players wanted to stir up trouble to get Alpha Company's attention by assaulting the main Republic base on Hoth then whined that we used the hangar guards to beat them then offered to meet on another planet to have a more 'fair' fight. Right now Alpha Company is stationed on Hoth for ongoing Operations so we declined their offer by remaining at Aurek Base and ignoring their 'Republic mouth-piece' that kept whispering every Alpha Company trooper online at the time.
Alpha Company needs to remain alert while deployed on Hoth now that we know there are some Imperials that will attempt to disrupt Republic operations in the area.

Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Imperial players wanted to stir up trouble to get Alpha Company's attention by assaulting the main Republic base on Hoth then whined that we used the hangar guards to beat them then offered to meet on another planet to have a more 'fair' fight. Right now Alpha Company is stationed on Hoth for ongoing Operations so we declined their offer by remaining at Aurek Base and ignoring their 'Republic mouth-piece' that kept whispering every Alpha Company trooper online at the time.
Alpha Company needs to remain alert while deployed on Hoth now that we know there are some Imperials that will attempt to disrupt Republic operations in the area.
