Contact Summary:
At 2000hrs, Alpha Company received a message that a couple "kids with guns" were running about the southeastern area of the Jundland, causing trouble. Expecting the worst, Corporal Galon called in all available Alpha Company troopers and deployed them planet side--hoping for the best.
Upon arrival at Outpost Largona, the squad-sized formation made their way through the canyons, towards the Southeastern Plain, upon which both the Imperial-held Ridgeside Outpost, and Outpost Rennar lie.
The area surrounding Ridgeside Outpost was cleared, and the squad then proceeded towards Rennar. Initial scans of the area in and around Rennar declared the area free of any large forces, so Alpha made its way to the outpost.
To no one's surprise, there was in fact a very large Mandalorian troop staged there, completely undetected by the local militia's intel. Superior in numbers and firepower, the Mandalorians gradually pushed Alpha back to Largona.
It was only after several failed attempts to siege Largona that the Mandos decided that enough was enough. Both sides accepted stalemate, and treated to their wounded.
Most of the company had only sustained minor injuries, of which included bruises, scratches, and minor lacerations. However, Specialist Victus suffered near-fatal injuries while providing covering fire as Alpha was dropping back to the outpost. Full report can be found at this location: [CASREP: RA-0203-E2-4835].
Positive Points:
RP goals were achieved by both sides (Adenn's claim to Tatooine and Rath's injury)
Negative Points:
Only negative point was that Alpha was severly outnumbered, and could not hold back a force twice as big without help of the local militia from Outpost Largona.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Adenn was very pleased by the outcome, although they regret outnumbering us by so much. Kain'ryk (who was Adenn's organizer for this operation) would like to conduct more operations with Alpha in the future, hopefully with more balanced numbers.
My recommendation: Adenn is a VERY capable pvp guild, and a good match for an opponent of Alpha's degree. Acoy would benefit greatly by participating in future events with Adenn.
