Contact Summary:

After hitting planetside, and putting out a call over the planet comms, it became apparent that there was little activity on Hoth. Kontraz led a quick sweep to secure the area around Aurek base. We encountered what appeared to be an immobilized transport on the side of the road. When I approached the transport to offer assistance the crew around it opened fire on our patrol. We used the transport for cover and - while Kontraz, Aeris, and Ranque held off the rest of the ambushers - I scanned the transport. After some investigation it became clear the transport was in perfect working order, and was nothing more than a ploy to lure in Republic forces. After ensuring all hostiles were dealt with, we returned to Aurek and notified the base commander of our encounter, and the trap's location.

Post Operation Assessment

Positive Points:

• Alpha began its regular planetary patrols

Negative Points:

• Planet was quiet, and due to another event we were unable to investigate Imperial territory

Recommendations:

• Only recommendation is to continue nightly patrols, and to reach out to Republic and Imperial players through RP.
