Contact Report
Enemy Encountered: <Clan Epsis> (2).
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: <Penumbral> (2).
Contact Summary: At 21:00 EDT, Alpha Company deployed a team sized force to the surface of Belsavis. Their mission was to locate an Imperial outpost and retrieve a prisoner with valuable intell. Lt. Neves stayed behind at the Republic base to monitor the mission and report their progress to command. Cpl. Zidd took lead of the mission and moved to the Imperial outpost. Once they infiltrated the outpost, they recovered the prisoner and made a hasty extraction... but not without alerting the guards. After fighting off the Imperial pursuers, the team interrogated the prisoner in the field. The prisoner, a Zabrak by the name of Kallim, reluctantly fed slips of information in trade for a transport off of Belsavis. Kallim revealed the identity and location of a bounty hunter Dulk'. Dulk' who recently abducted an Alpha Company trooper on Nar Shaddaa by the name of Junlar. Once the team gathered all of the intell it could they called for the transport. Kallim attempted to make a mad dash for freedom, but was knocked out, restrained, and placed on the transport bound for Coruscant. Cpl. Zidd reported back in to Lt. Neves at the base and awaited orders. The team was told to make preparations for moving to Quesh and hunting down Dulk'.
On Quesh, Lt. Neves ordered the team to begin combing the camp for any signs of Dulk'. Upon approaching the medical bay, they caught a glimpse of the Mandalorian from around the corner. The team tossed a concussion grenade into the room, and rushed in before Dulk' had time to react. After a while of banter between the Lt. and Dulk' (who would not release the name of his previous employer), Lt. Neves became irritated. He tossed his chair across the room and jammed his armored fist into the side of Dulk's helmet... he then threatened to torture Dulk' to the fringe of his life if need be. At that moment, two friends of Dulk' entered the room and began to protest his treatment. Lt. Neves recognized the two as Rydlie and Pike, whom he had encountered before. The troopers maintained their diligent watch as Neves proceeded to push Dulk' to his limits. The troopers assured them that their prisoner would be treated with every courtesy he deserved. As the interrogation dragged on, Dulk' continued to speak in circles, each sentence giving less information that the last. At that time, A'shrak a ranking Mandalorian from Clan Epsis entered the room and demanded to know why his Clan member was held captive and being beaten. With the odds starting to slip away from the troopers' favor, Neves called in for another transport to bring his team and Dulk' back to Coruscant to await trial. While Neves was distracted dealing with A'shrak, Dulk' leaped to the table and grabbed his pistol and engaged Neves in brutal close quarters combat. The troopers and others watched, none willing to risk taking an uncertain shot. Lt. Neves was able to slip his vibro-knife into a less armored part of Dulk's armor, ending the scuffle. At the time the transport landed with reinforcements from command and entered. The team then extracted Dulk' from the building as A'shrak and Rydlie warned the Lieutenant of the consequences should further harm or death come to their friend. Dulk' was loaded onto the transport with the rest of the team and Doc Wattles attended to his wounds. It lifted off into space... bound for Coruscant, where the next chapter will unfold.

Positive Points:
- Good RP story, everyone had a part to play and got involved.
- We were able to continue the event without having to fight off Imperials in the middle of our RP. Or resort to outright violence to resolve the RP.
- Dulk' was pleased with the outcome, and has some suggestions about how to continue, maybe even resulting in another RP/PvP event with Epsis sometime in the future.
- The troopers behaved themselves in the face of potential danger, the kept their heads, and a calm attitude resulting in a successful mission with no fatalities.
- Event went longer than anticipated due to unforeseen Imperial interaction and ingame bugs BW has failed to address.
- There was a horrible bug, where /say was broken and couldn't be seen by many. We were able to work through it by reposting what was said in ops chat and those who could see /say would narrate for us in mumble. Quite frustrating.
