Post Operation Assessment
Positive Points:
•Point 1 - The basic training was completed in high roleplay fashion which drew a fair bit of positive attention.
•Point 2 - Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves (even the recruits who both displayed a good humour to the number of laps and star jumps they were asked to do).
Negative Points:
•Point 1 - The small number of recruits (2) made the rp a bit awkward at times as the DI's outnumbered the recruits.
•Point 2 - Both recruits missed a fair number of the basic questions covered in the Training Manual, though the mistakes were handled well within the interaction and rp.
Recommendations:
•Overall Assessment and Recommendation;
This was the first time that all three Drill Sargeants were at a basic training and the resulting roleplay of tag-teaming, barked questions (in basic and Mando'a), and overall interaction with the recruits gave the basic training a feeling of realism that sparked some real-life memories in both the recruits and those merely enjoying the show. The suggestion was put forward that the time between basic should possibly be extended in order to have more bodies in the formation.
