Enemy Encountered: Total 9-11 contacts: 5 <Clan Kelborne>, 4 <Shadow Council of Sith>, 2-3 <Vicious>
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: 5-6 friendlies <SystemsCommonwealth>, 5 friendlies <The Theaca Initiative>
Contact Summary:
Alpha Company responded to a report of Imperials attacking at Outpost Thorazan, which members from <The Theaca Initiative> were already on scene. After a brief engagement, the Imperial forces were pushed back to Outpost Zaroshe, behind their guard and defense cannons. It was at this time, that the enemy's numbers became increased with reinforcements from <Vicious> and <The Shadow Council of Sith>, in which the next few engagements were a stalemate. Initially, there were attempts at negotiations between what appeared to be Mandalorians and Alpha Company. However, the enemy received unexpected aggressive reinforcements, forcing Alpha Company to fall back until forced to Thorazan once more. Once Alpha Company and other Republic forces regrouped, there was an intense defensive battle in which the Imperial forces were slowly pushed back towards their outpost at Zaroshe, the enemy slowly dwindling down to around 4 combatants. After the Mandalorians were driven back towards their defensive line, they attempted to make initial contact, but there was fire from the Republic reinforcements, which caused delays in initial talks. One of the Mandalorians then spoke aggressively towards Alpha as a whole, making accusations of having no honor in combat, and taunted leadership to having a 4 on 4 match to determine who won the field that day. However, Lieutenant Neves, Major Qorbin, and the rest of Alpha would have none of it, and decided to make one final engagement against the enemy. Once they were eliminated, Alpha Company reformed at Anchorhead Spaceport, and was dismissed soon afterwards.
Positive Points:
• There was a decent amount of RP this time, something that is good to explore whenever possible.
• Aggressive push to drive the enemy back until most of the reinforcements retreated from the battle.
Negative Points:
• Confusion between other Republic forces and Alpha when Imperials attempted to RP both times at Zaroshe, the Republic forces being trigger happy at times.
• The enemy is starting to observe and utilize our own tactics against us (i.e. chain pulling myself multiple times). We must learn to adjust and improve upon what we already know in order to keep the Imperials guessing.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
The RP aspect, though limited, was good for practice for future events, and coincided with Ysmir's class that happened mere minutes earlier. Though we were pushed back to Thorazan with our own tactics, no one can completely copy who we are, and will always find a way to overcome and win the day as always. Fight as One!
