((Wanted to send out a big thank you to guild for last night.

This was my first real interaction with ACoy in world, and I have to say Alpha Company is easily going to surpass my wildest dreams.

One can draw inspiration from the recruitment videos, manual and website but nothing compares with seeing boots on the ground.

I was really surprised at the expediency with which the guild responded...and the eventual show of force! It was awesome! Especially the RP. Coming from an mmo background where cross-faction interaction is limited to emotes, to see full-fledged rp conversations taking place was something entirely new for me, and it was delightful.

So again, thank you everyone. I look forward to getting ganked many more times before I hit 50. ))

I think my favorite bit was when Zooey spotted another lowbie about to get jumped, and we were able to intervene. The guy's response of: "Where did you all come from? Just...wow" was pretty awesome.

Thank you Hams, I'm just glad that one of them was willing to roleplay. Though I did feel for the guy since that was the second time his own guildmates ditched him after getting the warm A Coy welcome.

Hopefully the final impression left on both sides was a good one.
